Forehead & Eye Lift - SM Plastic Surgery

Forehead & Eye Lift (Forehead & Eye Lift)

Forehead wrinkles, drooping eyebrows and eyelids are addressed together in a single surgery. Fixation is performed with meticulous dissection using an endoscope and the dual-fix bone tunneling method.

Forehead & Eye Lift, In short?

The 2-in-1 forehead lift addresses the forehead lift and brow correction together. With endoscopic fine dissection and dual-fix bone tunnelling, forehead lines, a descended brow and the eyelid are handled in one procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the forehead lift scar visible?

The incision sits above the hairline, so the scar hides in the hair and does not show.

Why is an endoscope used in the forehead lift?

Deep tissue — vessels, nerves, muscle — is seen directly, with the aim of reducing damage and the burden of scarring.

What is the dual-fix bone tunnelling method?

A fine tunnel is made inside the bone and the fixation thread is passed through it and caught on the periosteum, anchoring firmly to the bone. The thread is absorbed naturally by the body, and in the meantime the periosteum and bone bond and hold.

How does it differ from Botox?

Botox temporarily limits the muscle's movement, whereas the forehead lift physically raises and fixes the descended tissue — an improvement that works from the layer where the cause lies.
