Brow lift raises and fixes a descended brow, addressing both the heavy-looking eye area caused by brow ptosis and the lines on the forehead. When the brow descends it pushes the lid beneath it down as well, so upper blepharoplasty alone may not correct enough; the position of the brow and the state of the forehead and lid are examined together, and the procedure is distinguished from or combined with upper blepharoplasty. The method — an incision just above the brow, or access from the forehead — is chosen according to the degree of descent and the height of the forehead, and it can help reduce the habit of using the forehead to open the eyes. Results and the pace of recovery vary from person to person.

What is the difference between brow lift and upper blepharoplasty?
Upper blepharoplasty refines the stretched skin above the lid; brow lift raises and fixes the descended brow itself. Where the brow presses down on the lid and the eyes look heavy, blepharoplasty alone may not be enough, so the brow position is examined and the method decided together.
Does brow lift also help with forehead lines?
