Asymmetry correction adjusts, toward left-right balance, a state in which the size of the eyes, the height of the crease and the degree of opening differ and look uneven. Causes vary — ptosis on one side (a difference in the strength of eye opening), a difference in crease height, differences in fat volume or swelling — so the cause is diagnosed first and then the strength of eye opening or the crease is adjusted accordingly.
