Yes. Every photo on this page is published with the patient's consent, and photos without consent are not posted. A notice about the posting conditions appears together with each case whenever you open it.

Where available, cases are organised by angle, such as front and side, so that matching angles can be compared. Even so, lighting and angle can make a photo differ from what you would see in person. When a case has recorded shooting conditions, that note is displayed alongside the photos.

It shows how much time had passed since surgery when the photo was taken. Even after the same operation, appearance changes as recovery progresses, so we note the interval with each photo. The pace of recovery varies from person to person.

When a case has a recorded shooting date, the before and after dates are shown with the photos. If no confirmed date exists, we leave the field blank rather than estimating one. For anything further about a photo, please ask during your consultation.

When a case has photos taken from several angles, such as front and side, you can switch between them with the buttons below the image. Different angles reveal different areas, so it helps to look at more than one. Cases without multiple angles simply do not show the buttons.

Every operation and procedure carries the possibility of side effects such as bleeding, infection or inflammation, and recovery differs from person to person. That is why we ask you to consult a doctor thoroughly before surgery rather than deciding from photos alone. We go through the expected risks and the recovery process with you at the consultation.
